Seawall Repair Naples FL The founder of DSMS, Jim Timmerman, designed DSMS to solve his own seawall problem. We are thrilled to be doing the same for customers like Capt. Sam Young over a decade later. A quote about DSMS from the letter of recommendation below:

Next, they installed the Dynamic Seawall Maintenance System (DSMS) which uses a helix earth screw that is driven down at about a 45 degree angle which is tied into the seawall and the massive concrete cap every eight feet. No more tie backs, which make a mess of your property. The DSMS helix screws have an unmatched tensile strength so you can be certain that your new seawall is rock solid.

Letter of Recommendation

My dock was shot, old wood structure was falling apart, and I had an original seawall that was beyond it’s life span. So I researched several seawall and dock companies and after my review, I selected Moore Docks and Lifts. My wife and I are so happy we did. The outcome of our new seawall and dock EXCEEDED our expectations. I highly recommend them and will host any prospective customer to come see what they did for me.

Moore Dock and Lifts uses a new technology in building a seawall, essentially, it’s a wall in front of the old wall, which is the least intrusive methodology in getting a new seawall. No mess with lost fill dirt, no pollution into the waterways, no loss of ANY vegetation, and it was all done quickly by Moore’s professional construction team.

Deadlines were exceeded, no delays what so ever I’m pleased to report. Clearly the way of the future in seawall construction, using Computer Aided Drafting “CAD” programs to insure everything is accurate to the last detail. His crews accept no less than perfection from start to finish.

Key components to the Seawall

The Truline Retaining wall with interlocking vinyl for longevity and outstanding appearance. As the Truline pilings are installed, they are filled with re-bar and poured to the top with concrete. Truline Walls have a life expectancy of 75 years, they interlock for stability and are 16 feet long. They aren’t going to move an inch!

Finally the cap is poured and it is so impressive, you really need to see just how solid this finishing component really is.

The Dock

I selected the Fiberon composite deck material, no rot, warping or splintering. Easy to clean up with just a wash down hose. I added dock lights and had all my new pilings wrapped for increased longevity, and worth every penny.

In summary, I strongly recommend Moore Dock and Lift to everyone considering a new seawall, a new dock, or both, as in my case. I welcome anyone that would like to see my dock, just call me in advance so I can take you through it with pictures of the construction process and you can see the finished product, which speaks for itself.

Sincerely,

Capt. Sam Young
